Lesson Seven

Last Friday we studied things about Ireland. I was quite shocked because of the things I learned. I can't believe that before that lesson I didn't know anything of 'The Troubles', which refers to the conflict between Protestants and Catholics in North Ireland. We also watched a video about the situation there nowadays. After that we listened a song called 'Fairytale of New York'. It's played by The Pogues, which is an Irish band. I really like that song even though the lyrics are quite harsh. Then we did couple of assignments in which we had to interpret the song.
